Flat-fee billing is just the beginning
Most refund processing services bill you a high percentage of each refund processed (usually 50%). We think that's unfair - it's the same amount of work for us whether you pay $10 or $20 to ship your package. That's why we charge a small, flat-fee to process your claim, regardless of how large your refund cheque is. On average, our customers end up keeping 70-80% of the refunds we recover.

Fees capped - If most of your shipments are low-cost (e.g. $5/shipment), paying $4/refund wouldn't make sense. That's why we guarantee that you will keep at least 60% of the total refunds recovered on every invoice. For example, if we recovered 5 refunds totalling $25 for you, the total fees on your invoice would be $10 or 40% (which works out to $2 each).
Volume discounts - The more you ship, the less you pay per claim.
The fees on your weekly invoice are based on the number of refunds you received that week.

The Small Stuff
We also apply for small refunds, where Canada Post might only refund you a dollar or two. These refunds are for service options like missing signatures or failure to check identification. For these small refunds, we charge a fee of 50%.
